Clear Card Battle Costumes Inspire Hair Accessories by Mayla Classic

The fashion brand mayla classic is currently taking pre-orders for a line of made-to-order products Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Map hair accessories inspired by the combat costumes of the series.

The Cardcaptor Sakura Iconic Hair Line Object, which features the collaboration theme “SAKURA~Here in my Heart~”, includes the red and white Rocket Beat and the white-colored Clear. As their name suggests, they are inspired by the combat costumes seen in the animation sequences of Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Maprespectively the second opening song (“Rocket Beat”) and the first opening song (“Clear”).

The third accessory in the line, Candy Lotus, is inspired by Sakura’s Chinese-style battle costume from Clear Map‘s fourth episode and includes a tassel as part of the design. The fourth, Eternal Girly, is based on the costume seen in the series’ second episode and has a striped design.

mayla classic had already taken pre-orders earlier this year for Sakura card sensor-inspired shoes and ear accessories, also available in Rocket Beat, Clear, Candy Lotus and Eternal Girly varieties and sharing the same collaborative theme as the new hair accessories.

Pre-orders for the Cardcaptor Sakura Iconic Hair Objet line began on October 21 and will end on December 6 at 12 p.m. JST. Each item costs 6,490 yen (~$43.58) including tax and will come packaged in an exclusive pink and gold-themed box.

The original published by Kodansha Sakura card sensor magical girl manga by TO SQUEEZE ran from 1996 to 2000. The sequel, Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Mapbegan in 2016 and has 13 tankoubon volumes as of October 2022. The manga has inspired anime series and movies produced by Crazy’s house and led by Morio Asakaincluding a 2018 television anime adaptation of Clear Map.
