Former Love Island star Laura Anderson is always changing up her hairstyle, but her latest look might just be our favorite.
The 32-year-old, who currently lives in Dubai with her boyfriend Dane Bowers, showed off her new ‘do’ in an Instagram reel shared with her 1.4 million followers.
In the clip which has amassed over 4K likes so far, Laura can be seen pulling on her hair extensions to the beat of a song, before the video cuts to her new, shorter locks.
The star looks amazing in the clip, as her poker straight tresses quickly transition into a chic shoulder-length bob with bouncy, blow-dried curls.
Laura captioned the post, “I did it,” before adding that she was inspired to go for the chop after seeing Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger create the same video a week prior.
“Inspired by the Sherzy,” she adds, posting a winking emoji.
Since the video was shared, enthusiastic fans and followers have flocked to the comments section to shower Laura with compliments.
“Wowww love it short,” one person wrote.
“Looks awesome. How come my hair didn’t look like this when I cut it lol,” another said.
Even Laura’s fellow Love Island stars got involved, with Rosie Williams commenting, “Awe love it,” while Millie Court wrote, “YESSSS. You’re amazing.”
Although we’re used to seeing Laura sport super long hair, the shorter style isn’t a brand new look for her. The reality TV star loves experimenting with extensions and new hairstyles.
The star sported a similar length to last year’s summer; however, at the time, her hair color was much darker and more of a caramel hue.
Having been a hairstylist before becoming famous on Love Island, Laura is known for cutting and coloring her own locks. But on this occasion, the star treated herself to a full salon experience and tagged the stylists responsible for her transformation in her Stories.
Dubai-based hairstylist Nicolas Hallak created Laura’s beach blonde hue, while her new cut was courtesy of extension and color specialist Harriet Slade.
This news comes just days after Laura revealed she was planning to take a “longer break” from extensions this time around.
In a clip shared to her Instagram account, the star can be seen removing her old hair extensions before replacing them with clips.
The caption reads: “My hair has always been my insecurity so it was a dream to start @laloxlondon after working in the hair industry myself for 6 years.”
“Next time I’ll definitely take a longer break but what can I say I’m hooked and feeling more confident and wearing my @laloxlondon stennies myself,” she adds.
We don’t know about you, but we love Laura’s new, shorter hairstyle.
