Tess Daly rarely strays from her signature beauty look – slick blonde hair, a medium length cut and natural makeup – and she’s always the picture of youth. Now, for a new photo shoot with fashion brand Biba, Tess looks even more amazing (if that’s possible).
The 53-year-old ditched her mid-length hair in favor of super-long braids that reached down to her waist. She had her hair styled in a poker-straight style, accentuating how long it is. Since it’s unlikely Tess grew several inches of hair overnight, we can only assume she had some temporary extensions added to increase her length and thickness.
Tess’ youthful appearance was noticed by fans this week after the star posted a photo of herself and husband Vernon Kay.
“23 birthdays later. HBD @vernonkay,” she captioned the Instagram post.
“You two haven’t changed one iota!” one wrote with a heart-eye emoji while another added, “You two don’t age!” alongside a pink heart emoji, a celebration emoji, and a heart eye emoji.
While Tess tagged details of her new Biba x House of Fraser collection, she sadly didn’t mention anything about her haircare in the post. We will look forward to an update.
On the subject of Tess and her changeable beauty look, we couldn’t help but notice that the thick eyeliner she wore at the BAFTAs looked a lot like her co-host Strictly Claudia Winkelmanthe signature look of. Since Claudia was absent from this year’s red carpet festivities due to her ongoing ‘Behind The Fringe’ tour, perhaps Tess’ look was a nod to her TV partner in crime? We like to think so.
If you, like the Strictly presenters, love a smudged look, you can recreate it with the exact products makeup artist Aimee Adams used on Tess for the BAFTAs.
The smoky shadow look was created with a mix of Sculpted By Aimee Sultry Stories Eyeshadow Palette, £35 hereand Hildun Beauty Silk to define Kajal Liner in Black, £16 hereoffset with Sculpted by Aimee My Mascara, usually £17, and Flicker Cosmetics Naked Lash Trios, £18 here.
As for her gorgeous glowing base, it was even more sculpted by Aimee’s kindness in the form of Beauty Base in Rose Golden, £23 hereSecond skin foundation, £25 hereand Liquid Lights Blush in Pink Lite, £13 here.
