Hair accessories

Hair accessories are a huge trend this season, pulled from the ’90s with lots of scrunchies, bobbles and hair clips,” Tasha said.

“On the runway this year, Dolce & Gabbana used a lot of hair accessories, so we’re taking inspiration from that runway look.”

“First, prep the hair with L’Oreal Professionnel Tecni.ART Pli and use a straightener to pull the hair away from the face to create a really glamorous look,” Tasha suggested.

“Big, bouncy blow-drying is a trend that’s never going to go away. On the AW18 catwalks we saw a lot of voluminous hair and everyone wants to follow the trend this season,” Tasha said.

“For a bouncy blow-dry, prep hair with L’Oréal Professionnel Tecni.ART Pli, then quarter. Pinch hair up, lifting to create even more body.”

Tasha recommends using a wide clip so you can take larger sections of hair to create a big bounce.

“Pin up each section and when cool, spray hairspray before finally removing the hair and backcombing it from the crown of the head to the hairline.”

“Put on some Kérastase Styling VIP Volume powder when backcombing and brush it on. Finish with a nice shimmer spray like L’Oréal Professionnel Tecni.ART Crystal Gloss,” Tasha suggested.

“For this look, I was inspired by the Valentino A/W18 show,” Tasha revealed.

“This is a super easy hairstyle to do at home if you only have five minutes in the morning. All you need is a little hairspray and shine to make it look a little more finished than your ponytail. standard,” she added.

“To achieve this look, take two sections from the front of the hair on each side. Then pull the rest of the hair into a really sleek pony and wrap some hair around the pony to hide the headband.”

“Comb the two sections in the front and flatten them with hairspray before wrapping them around the pony on each side. Secure them with a handle and finish with hairspray and a shine spray.”

Relaxed twists

“Casual hairstyles are such a trend right now and the half up, half down look is super easy to do in the morning plus it’s so wearable,” Tasha said.

“To achieve this look, take two sections of hair and flip them over, twist and tie them up. Then flip the hair again so it goes over the headband.”

Tasha recommends tying hair back wherever the headband can be seen to hide it and add to the casual look.

“All you need for this style are rubber bands and pins to make sure the hair band isn’t showing. If you need to remove frizz or shine, try using L’Oreal Professional Tecni.ART Depolish.”

Well, there you have it, this season’s most wearable trends. What look are you going to try?
