Vusi Nova finally admits to having hair extensions: “it’s the best thing”

Vusi Nova and his hair full of hair have interested his fans since he launched his new look on his social media last month.

The star – real name Vusimuzi Nongxa – has been quiet about her luscious curls – until now, that is. The singer finally admitted to having hair extensions, and claims it even boosted his self-confidence.

‘MY HAIR GIVEN MY TRUST’

Talk to Tumble magazine, Vusi Nova admitted that years of hair loss had negatively impacted her self-esteem.

“A lot of men can relate to me that losing hair can really hurt your self-esteem. I was one of those people who didn’t take baldness lightly.

“For years I have struggled with hair loss. Sometimes I would cover it with hats or my pearls or a scarf because it took a while for me to accept it.

The 37-year-old hitmaker then discovered hair extensions, and hasn’t looked back since.

“My natural hair is beautiful, silky and rich. This is the best thing I have ever found. The hair is well tied back. It seems natural. I sleep with; I can swim with it and I don’t need to take it out for a while.

And like his fans, who have dubbed him “Usher Nova,” Vusi thinks he’s good looking and feels years younger.

“It really gave me confidence. People gave me compliments and told me that I had lost a few years of my age.

And with a new look, comes a new character, says the star who introduced fans to his alter ego “Snova”, which produces Amapiano music.

He said Tambourine: “Snova, pronounced ‘Snow-va is just a short, punchier, more street version of my name. And that’s really who my alter ego is; punchy and street.

Snova will release her first single Shuku Shuku on Friday at a launch party at the Rich and Famous Restaurant and Bar in Northcliff, Johannesburg.

But, does that mean the end of Vusi Nova as we know it? No, claims the star, who promises that Vusi Nova “is not going anywhere”.

He added: “He will always be there. In fact, it’s booked back to back this holiday season.

“Vusi Nova is a romantic, he sings about love and is gentle and caring. While Snova is rough around the edges and a bit wild.

“In public, Vusi is content, well behaved, watch what he says. But my alter ego is very outgoing and social.
